We are D+A Bridal- a small team of makeup and hair artists in SF and LA. While we celebrate our individuality, we all have a handful of things in common: We LOVE working in the wedding industry, and are passionate about YOU feeling/looking your best. We love radiant, glowing looks that compliment your best features, and your dress/whole wedding vibe. We love to laugh- and we have a lot of fun getting to know our brides, and their wedding parties!
Desiree (Dez) PeÑaloza
Dez is our lead artist, and booking manager. She’s been doing makeup for over a decade, and has been styling hair for 5 years.
Her makeup style is glowy and natural, and she loves to add any fun pop of color, or sparkle. With a background in fashion, Dez really believes that it’s a whole look head to toe, and hair and makeup complete that.
Dez is based in LA, but will travel far and wide for our brides. Dez not only works weddings, but has also worked in red carpet, commercials, and advertising.
While not working, she loves thrifting at flea markets, roller skating, and checking out new bars and restaurants.

Alejandro (Alex) Jimenez
Alex is a licensed cosmetologist, and has been working in the beauty industry for 12 years.
He is born and raised in the East Bay, and currently lives in Oakland, where he works at a salon also. You can book color and cut with with through his instagram below!
We call him the blow out king- if you are looking for a BIG voluminous, perfect blowout, look no further. His makeup style ranges from ultra natural to glam, and he loves vintage vibes, and soft, romantic hair.
While not working, he loves spending time with his younger teen siblings, and exploring the Bay Area.

Angelina (Lina) Quinteros
Lina has been doing makeup for 15 years, and has been styling hair for about 4. She is a San Francisco native, and is still based there.
Her makeup style ranges from natural to very glam- if you are looking for a full glam look, she will deliver!
Her hair styling expertise is in effortless, chic styles that will stay put all day.
While not working, Lina loves spending time with her 13 year old son, and also owns a charcuterie/cheese board business (@cheese.allthat)
